About Yeya Lake National Wetland Park
A national wetland park of reservoir shallows, rivers, reed beds and marsh on the south-western edge of Yanqing, the largest wetland in the Beijing area and part of a municipal nature reserve. Migrating and wintering water birds, among them cranes, storks and swans, make it a noted birdwatching site, named one of Beijing's ten best in 2015, and a wetland museum explains the ecosystem.
