A traditional Hakka village house built in 1904 by Yau Yuen-cheung (1865–1937), a scholar of Hoi Pa Village, from rammed earth, grey brick and timber, and declared a monument in 1986. It is a fine example of southern Chinese village architecture. The old village has been redeveloped as Tak Wah Park in the middle of Tsuen Wan, and the house stands in the park.
