A large Qing merchant mansion just east of Pingjiang Road, built in 1787 by Pan Linzhao, a merchant from Huizhou, and known by the name of its main hall, Ligeng Tang. Restored in stages from 2001, it reopened in 2014 as a cultural venue with a bookshop, teahouse and exhibitions, and since 2022 it has also housed the Suzhou Urban Construction Museum.
