About Wangjianglou Park

A riverside park on the Jin River honouring the Tang poet Xue Tao, who is said to have drawn water from a well here to make her coloured letter paper. Buildings added in the Ming and Qing include the tall Chongli Pavilion, a Chengdu landmark, along with smaller halls and the Xue Tao Well. The park grows more than 100 kinds of bamboo, a plant she loved.
