About Guanghui Temple Hua Pagoda
A four-storey, eight-sided brick pagoda, the main surviving building of Guanghui Temple in the old town of Zhengding. Its top storey is a cone-shaped body covered in modelled figures of warriors, lions, elephants, Buddhas and bodhisattvas, in the manner of a flower bouquet, which gives this rare 'flower pagoda' type its name. The temple was founded in the Tang, the tower is mainly of Song–Jin date, and it was restored in 1994–99.
