About Wuyuan Ancestral Halls

Seven clan halls scattered across Wuyuan make up this national-level group, listed in 2006 and built between the early Ming dynasty (Yuqing Hall at Huangcun in Tuochuan township, 1403–1424) and 1864 (Chengyi Hall at Zhifeng). One of them, the Huang clan's Jingyi Hall of 1683, is also called the hundred-pillar hall. The pin marks Jingyi Hall in a different Huangcun, in Dazhangshan township; another of the seven, the Yu clan's Renben Hall of 1736, stands in Wangkou.

How to get to Wuyuan Ancestral Halls

The seven halls are spread across Wuyuan County; the pin marks Jingyi Hall in Huangcun village, Dazhangshan township, about 28 km north-north-west of Wuyuan town.
