About Old Stanley Police Station

Built in 1859, the Old Stanley Police Station is the oldest surviving police station in Hong Kong, a two-storey building with colonnaded verandahs and a Classical look. It was the most southerly outpost on Hong Kong Island and was used by the Japanese Gendarmerie during the Japanese Occupation. The domed brick ceiling of the original gunroom and the fireplaces survive inside, and since the police left in 1974 the building has been let to tenants for various uses.

How to get to Old Stanley Police Station
