About SAC Aviation Expo Park
An aviation museum run by the Shenyang Aircraft Corporation (AVIC Shenyang), on Lingbei Street beside the company's factory, which tells the story of the firm and the fighter aircraft it has built. The main hall of about 4,600 square metres has eight exhibition sections with some 1,950 historical photographs and 1,200 objects, and fighters made by the company, including J-5, J-6 and J-8 types, are displayed outdoors on the square. It suits aviation enthusiasts.
How to get to SAC Aviation Expo Park
In Huanggu district, about 8 km north-north-east of Shenyang railway station; the museum is inside the aircraft company's grounds, so check the visiting rules before going. Closed on Mondays.
