About Man Lun Fung Ancestral Hall

The Man clan built this ancestral hall in Fan Tin Tsuen, San Tin, around the middle of the 17th century to honour Man Fat-po, also known as Lun-fung, the eighth-generation ancestor of the clan. It has three halls with two enclosed courtyards between them, and the ancestral tablets of the Mans are kept in the middle hall. In the past it also served as the office of the village patrol force and as a school for clansmen, and it was fully restored in 1987.
