About Qiankou Ming Houses
An open-air museum of Ming-dynasty Huizhou architecture on a hillside at Qiankou, where about ten fine buildings that could not be kept safely in their home villages were taken down and re-erected from 1984 onwards. Houses, ancestral halls, a roadside pavilion and a stone archway are laid out like a traditional village, and the site is one of the five parts of the Ancient Huizhou Culture Tourism Zone.
