About Harbin Confucius Temple

A Qing-style temple complex built in 1926–29, described as the largest Confucian temple in north-east China, laid out along a central axis from a pool and the Lingxing Gate to the Dacheng Hall and the Chongsheng Shrine. It was later used as a library and a store, and now houses the Heilongjiang Museum of Nationalities, which also holds traditional-culture events at the temple. Only part of the original grounds survives.
