About Zhijin Cave

Zhijin Cave is a large karst show cave in the hills north-east of Zhijin town, known locally as Daji Cave until a county tourism survey team explored it in 1980. Formations along the visitor route are named for what they resemble, among them the 'Upside-down Pipa', the 'Overlord's Helmet', the 'Silver Rain Tree' and 'Lingzhi Mountain'. It is a 5A scenic area and is easily combined with the old town of Zhijin.
