About China Yixing Ceramics Museum

One of China's earliest specialist ceramics museums, at the foot of Xianhe Hill in Dingshu, Yixing's pottery town, and since 2013 also designated the China Zisha Museum. Its displays run from Neolithic pottery, Han glazed wares and Jin celadon through Song and Yuan Jun-style pottery to Ming and Qing purple-clay (zisha) teapots and modern work, with a gallery for the master potter Gu Jingzhou and studios where visitors can try making pottery.
