About Fengtai Temple Pagoda
The only survivor of the long-vanished Fengtai Temple: a hollow, nine-tiered hexagonal brick pagoda with closely spaced eaves, 19.1 m high and built before 1081 in the Northern Song. Its tall first storey has a door on the east side, and footholds set into the inner walls rise to the eighth tier; the pagoda was repaired by the local government in 2018.
