About Heimi Peak National Forest Park
The highest hill in Wangcheng at 590.5 m, on the district's north-eastern border, protected as a national forest park of about 41 km² with forest covering over 80 per cent. Trails for walking and cycling pass a reservoir on the way to a Buddhist temple on the summit, and the mountain is linked by tradition to the Tang monk-calligrapher Huaisu and, through legends and rock carvings, to the Daoist immortal Lü Dongbin.
