About Our Lady of Victory Church (Wanghailou)
A Gothic-style Catholic church beside the Sanchakou confluence, first built in 1869 and rebuilt in 1897 and 1904 after being burned in the Tianjin Incident of 1870 and in the fighting of 1900. The brick church has three towers on its front and a basilica-style interior with pointed arches and coloured glass. It is still used by the city's Catholic community and was listed as national heritage in 1988.
