About Shanghai Wild Animal Park

China's first national-level wild animal park, opened in 1995 on the southern outskirts of Pudong, with more than 200 species and over 10,000 animals. Shuttle buses carry visitors through drive-through enclosures where zebras, rhinos, big cats and bears roam, and a walking area has giant pandas, elephants, giraffes and primates; keepers stage animal-behaviour demonstrations at set times. It suits families and fills most of a day.

How to get to Shanghai Wild Animal Park
