About Sha Tin Racecourse

Opened in 1978, Sha Tin is the larger of Hong Kong's two racecourses, run by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, with a turf track and an all-weather dirt track watched from two grandstands. It hosts the Hong Kong International Races each December, and a tourist zone offers commentary for visitors from abroad. Racing takes place only on scheduled meeting days.

How to get to Sha Tin Racecourse

About 0.8 km north-east of Fo Tan MTR station, with Racecourse MTR station, used on race days, linked to the grandstand; check the Jockey Club's race calendar for meeting days.
