About Maritime Museum
A museum in a building shaped like a sailing ship, beside A-Ma Temple on Barra Square (Largo do Pagode da Barra). The ground floor covers the fishing communities of Macau and South China with boats, tools, a replica fisherman's house and a Little A-Ma Theatre telling the goddess's legend; upper floors cover Chinese and Portuguese sea voyages, maritime technology and an aquarium gallery. Full-size boats, including a dragon boat, stand outside.
