About Coloane Pier

A former ferry pier on Coloane's west shore, with a covered Art Déco portico, plastered in light yellow, at the shore end of a trestle jetty; 'Coloane Pier' is lettered in Portuguese and Chinese on its front and rear. Ferries linked Coloane with Taipa and the Macau Peninsula until the road links of 1968 and 1974 reduced the service, and sailings stopped in the early 1980s. Today it is a waterfront spot at the edge of the village, where dried seafood is sold nearby.

How to get to Coloane Pier

At Largo do Cais in Coloane Village, with the Coloane Village bus stop about 0.2 km away.
