About Tongling Grand Canyon

A deep, forest-filled gorge in Huru town near the Vietnamese border, entered by a path that drops through old trees into a cave about 100 m high and on to Tongling Falls, a single 188.6 m drop into a pool fed by an underground river. More than 2,300 plant species, including tree ferns, grow in the gorge, and an underground-river tunnel leads on to the farmed Nianba Gorge. The loop walk takes about 3–4 hours.

How to get to Tongling Grand Canyon

In Huru town about 30 km by road from Jingxi city and about an hour from Detian Waterfall; carry your passport, as there are border checkpoints on the roads near the frontier.
