About Thousand Buddha Mountain
A wooded hill on the southern edge of Jinan, counted with Baotu Spring and Daming Lake as one of the city's three famous sights. About 130 Buddha figures carved in the Sui dynasty remain on the Thousand Buddha Cliff, and Xingguochan Temple, a Tang foundation, stands on the slope, with paths and a chairlift leading up. From the ridge there are views north across the city towards the Yellow River.
