About Luanzhou Uprising Memorial Park

A memorial built in 1936–37 by the general Feng Yuxiang for those killed in the Luanzhou Uprising of January 1912, a failed revolt against the Qing in which he took part. Its monuments stand in a line up Xianlong Hill: a granite memorial arch, a stele, an octagonal cenotaph pillar naming 14 of the dead, a cliff inscription in Feng's calligraphy and a 12-metre white stone pagoda at the top.
