About Tianshou Temple Pagoda

A seven-storey hexagonal brick-and-timber pagoda, 42.8 m tall, on Yingchun Street in the centre of Guangde and the only survivor of Tianshou Temple. First built in 979 and rebuilt in 1100–1105 after a fire, it was repaired many times; its present eaves and floors date from a 1984–86 restoration, and further repairs finished in 2017.
