About Ganzhou Confucian Temple

A Confucian temple founded in 1050 as the school of Gan County, on the site of an earlier Taoist temple. Most of the present buildings date from 1778 and stand in three parallel groups covering about one hectare, with the central axis running from the Dacheng Gate through side halls and shrines to the Dacheng Hall, and the Kuixing Pavilion and a scripture library on the east side.
