About Museum of Chinese Gardens and Landscape Architecture
China's first national museum devoted to gardens, opened in 2013 at the foot of Yingshan hill beside the Garden Expo Park, with galleries on the history, techniques and culture of Chinese garden-making. Indoor courts hold rebuilds of famous small gardens, among them Suzhou's Chang Yuan, Guangzhou's Yuyin Shanfang and Yangzhou's Pianshi Shanfang, and the outdoor gardens include a partial rebuild of Beijing's lost Banmu Yuan.
