About Da Eling Scenic Area (Eling Park)
A hilltop scenic area on the narrow ridge of the Yuzhong peninsula, rated 4A in 2022 and centred on Eling Park, laid out in 1909 as the villa garden of the merchant Li Yaoting at the highest point of the peninsula. The Liangjiang Pavilion looks over both the Yangtze and the Jialing, and the park also has a Japanese-style garden presented by the twin city of Hiroshima. Since November 2025 a 460 m walkway built against the cliff has linked it with Fotuguan Park to the west.
How to get to Da Eling Scenic Area (Eling Park)
On Eling Main Street in western Yuzhong District, about 4 km west of Jiefangbei, near Eling station on Metro Line 1.
