About Happy Valley Beijing
An amusement park opened in 2006 by the OCT group on the south-eastern side of the city, with dozens of rides, from big roller coasters and drop towers to gentle children's rides, spread over themed zones such as a Mayan jungle, an Aegean harbour and a Shangri-La area. Live shows and parades run through the day, and it suits families and thrill-seekers.
