About Baise Uprising Memorial Park
A memorial park on Yinglong, Panlong and Houlong hills on the east side of Baise, set up in 2008 around the sites of the Baise Uprising of 11 December 1929, in which Communist forces led by Deng Xiaoping, Zhang Yunyi and Wei Baqun founded the Seventh Red Army. Its main sights are the Baise Uprising Memorial Hall, with exhibitions on the uprising and the You River base area, the uprising monument and the Youjiang ethnic history museum.
