No direct train runs. The quickest rail route changes at Chengdu: G8606 from Shapingba to Chengdu East (1 h 3 min), then C5762 on to Songpan (1 h 39 min), 3 h 23 min in all with the wait, about ¥283 in standard class.
Chongqing: Chongqing North is the busiest station; many trains to Guizhou, Yunnan and Yibin use Chongqing West, and Chongqing East opened in 2025. Songpan: C and D trains from Chengdu East take about 1.5 hours; Huanglong Jiuzhai station, one stop north, is nearer Huanglong, Jiuzhaigou and Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport.
