About Huyanghe
Huyanghe, 'desert-poplar river', is the city of the 7th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (Bingtuan), set up in 2019 around the town of the 130th Regiment north of Wusu. Its land, the Chepaizi reclamation area in the south-west of the Junggar Basin, has been farmed by army units since 1950. It is a city of irrigated farmland and has no listed sights of its own.
