About Heze

Heze, in the south-west corner of Shandong, was named China's peony capital in 2012, and the Caozhou Peony Garden and the spring peony festival are its great seasonal draw. In Yuncheng, where a local saying claims 72 of the 108 Water Margin outlaws as natives, Water Margin Heroes City is a theme park. Sun Bin Tourist City honours the strategist Sun Bin, and Shan County has the Baishou and Baishi Memorial Arches and a well-known mutton soup.
