About Baisha
Baisha, a Li autonomous county governed directly by the province, lies among forested hills in the middle of Hainan and has no big-name sight; what it offers is upland scenery and tea. Large plantations around the county produce Baisha green tea, and some tea gardens let visitors pick and taste. The Yinggeling nature reserve, part of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, protects mountain rainforest in its hills.
What to eat in Baisha
- Baisha green tea (白沙绿茶)
- Li fermented fish and pork with rice (白沙鱼茶肉茶)
