About Qinzhou

In September 2026 Qinzhou became the sea end of the Pinglu Canal, giving inland Guangxi its own waterway to the sea, and off its coast Chinese white dolphins surface in Sanniang Bay. Two generals who fought the French in the 1880s came from the old Qinzhou region, Liu Yongfu of the Black Flag Army and the Qing commander Feng Zicai, and both their mansions still stand here. Inland, the Lao family's Ming and Qing halls at Dalu Village keep more than 300 old couplets.
