About Ancient Bridges of the Bi River

A group of 37 historic bridges over the Bi River and its tributaries in Yunlong County, mostly built between the Ming dynasty and the early Republic and listed together as a national monument in 2013. They cover the four basic types of traditional Chinese bridge, beam, floating, arch and suspension, which has earned the county the nickname of a 'museum of bridges'. They are scattered along the valleys rather than in one place, so a car is needed to see more than one or two.
