About Memorial Hall of the Boxer Uprising (Lüzutang)
A former Taoist temple, the Lüzutang, built as a village shrine in 1433 and made a Taoist temple in 1719, which became the main Boxer altar in Tianjin during the uprising of 1900. It is now the Tianjin Boxer Uprising Memorial Hall, with a restored altar, a reconstructed meeting hall for the movement's leaders and exhibitions on the uprising and its course in Tianjin.
