A ferry crossing on the Dadu River where, in May 1935, a small Red Army vanguard crossed by boat under fire during the Long March, opening the way for the advance on Luding Bridge. A memorial hall presents the crossing, and a riverside monument completed in 1983 marks the landing. In 1863 the Taiping general Shi Dakai's army was trapped and destroyed at the same place.
