About Stone Pagoda Temple
A temple in Gaohe, western Qionglai, centred on a 17.8-metre square pagoda of red sandstone carved between 1169 and 1172, with a double plinth, a colonnade and twelve tiers of close-set eaves. The main hall is a Ming rebuilding. In 1935 the temple housed a local Red Army soviet government, and a Long March memorial hall now stands on the site.
