About Nakeli Tea Horse Road Post Station

A small village in Ning'er county that grew up as a staging post on the Tea Horse Road, where mule caravans rested and traded. Its sights are the Rongfa caravan inn, a covered wind-and-rain bridge more than a century old, and a stretch of the old road paved with dressed stone and cobbles, part of which has been cleared for walking. It makes a pleasant stop for a stroll and a caravan-style meal.
