About Wolong Gang
The shrine to the Three Kingdoms strategist Zhuge Liang on Wolong Gang, the low ridge south-west of central Nanyang where he is said, in a disputed tradition, to have lived and farmed for about ten years before joining Liu Bei. Worship here goes back to the Jin dynasty and the present halls are Yuan to Qing, with a thatched pavilion on the site of his supposed cottage and some 400 steles, among them the 'Chu Shi Biao' memorials in the hand of Yue Fei. The Nanyang Han Stone Carving Museum stands at the foot of the same ridge.
