About People's Park, Nanning
A city park in central Nanning, also called White Dragon Park after its 7-hectare White Dragon Lake, which has a small island reached by two bridges. Stone steps climb Wangxian Hill, the highest point in downtown Nanning, to the Zhenning Fort, built in 1917 by the Guangxi warlord Lu Rongting on the site of an old temple and still holding its German Krupp gun. The park also has a shady botanical garden with an old banyan and a 25 m Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs.

At 1 East Renmin Road, about a ten-minute walk from Chaoyang Square in central Nanning.
