About Bailiandong Cave Science Museum
A museum at Bailian Cave, a limestone cave about 1,870 m long south of Liuzhou where digs since 1956 have yielded stone tools, human teeth, animal fossils and traces of fire spanning roughly 37,000 to 7,000 years ago. The site museum and a newer exhibition hall display the finds, including river-snail shells that show how long people here have eaten snails.
