About Gongchen Pagoda
A five-storey square brick pagoda about 25 m tall on Gongchen Hill in the centre of Lin'an, built in 915 by Qian Liu, founder of the Wuyue kingdom, who was born at the foot of the hill. Its timber eaves have long gone, leaving a brick shell with doorways and niches on every face, and the site of the Gongchen Temple founded at the same time is part of the same listing.
