About Tenglong Cave

A cave system on the Qing River with about 59.8 km of passages on five levels, where the river drops more than 30 m at the entrance and flows on underground. Visitors walk a section of the cave, and a theatre inside stages a sung-and-danced show on Tujia history and customs, in air that stays at roughly 12–18 °C all year. Xinhua describes it as one of the largest known caves in Asia, and it is a popular escape from the summer heat.
