About Dahei Mountain

A 663-metre mountain and forest park in Jinzhou, with Buddhist and Taoist temples and rock canyons, and azaleas that bloom on the slopes in mid-April. Along the ridges runs Beisha Fortress, a ruined Goguryeo hill fort of about 5 km, whose west gate, Guanmenzhai, stands at the canyon entrance. The fortress is a national heritage site and one of the scenic area's main sights.
