About Haitian Yizhou Sea Platform
A service and sightseeing platform built on piers in the sea beside the middle of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, opened to visitors in 2010. A 145.6 m observation tower has a 360-degree gallery near the top, and the platform holds a bridge exhibition hall, cafés and a hotel. It is a stop for views of the bridge and the open bay on a drive between Ningbo and Shanghai.
How to get to Haitian Yizhou Sea Platform
Reached only by car, from a dedicated exit in the middle of the Hangzhou Bay Bridge about 18 km from its southern end in Cixi; central Ningbo is roughly 1.5 hours away by road. Check that it is open before going.
