About Guanmenshan Forest Park

Guanmenshan is a forested valley in Benxi Manchu Autonomous County, named for two facing peaks that look like a gate, and is known above all for its autumn maples. The park is divided into five zones, including Longmen Gorge and Mingcui Valley, and the provincial tourism page counts 108 sights. Remains of camps used by anti-Japanese guerrilla forces, including barracks and hidden storerooms, are scattered through the park.
