About Yu Village (Yucun), Anji
A village in the bamboo hills of Tianhuangping town that closed its limestone quarries and cement works in the early 2000s and turned to forestry and rural tourism. In August 2005 Xi Jinping, then Communist Party secretary of Zhejiang, first set out here the idea that 'clear waters and green mountains are mountains of gold and silver'; the village meeting room where he spoke is preserved as a provincial heritage site, and UN Tourism has named Yucun one of its Best Tourism Villages.

In Tianhuangping town about 14 km south of Anji town, roughly 25 minutes by road.
